Very interesting! I see from another post that the block with more than 12 second block interval (24 or 36s) are less than 1% for now. So less than 1% slots are likely to be empty (i.e. the proposed block is rejected at this slot) I have a question, if the committee (proposer, voters) for Epoch N+2 is determined by the random beacon at the end of Epoch N, then when do the committee (proposer, voters) know which slot in Epoch N+2 one of them is going to be the proposer? If the proposer know when to propose in advance, would this information bring a new opportunity for MEV such as manipulating oracle prices or proposing empty block to reduce the base fees? Thanks!
